书中的奇思妙想令我惊讶不已。在那时，电灯还没有发明，凡尔纳竟然可以神奇地想出电灯这种东西。更为神奇的是，在海里，都有发电的资源。在故事里，生活在海里的尼摩船长他们穿的衣服竟然是一种用贝类的足丝织成的。他们居然还从鲸鱼身上挤出的奶做奶油，这一切，是多么神奇啊！
这本书里的人物里面，我最喜欢的就是尼摩船长了，尼摩船长是个冷静、知识渊博、善良和有正义感的人。其中，给我留下印象的是他的冷静，有一次，他在采珠场遇到了鲨鱼的攻击，但是他冷静地应对，最后终于取得了胜利。我要学习尼摩船长冷静的品质，不要平时遇到一些困难就想放弃，要多思考一下，就一定能找到办法解决困难。

《海底两万里》这本书一共有四个主要人物，分别是：尼摩船长、尼德·鱼叉手、康塞尔仆人、阿龙纳斯博物学家。
这本书写的非常精彩。那是：三个人本来要跟美国海军部去捕捉“怪物”。结果驱逐舰把被“怪物”重创，博物学家和他的仆人以及为清除“怪物”被特意请到驱逐舰中的一名鱼叉手都成了“怪物”的俘虏。“怪物”非他，原来是一艘尚不为人世所知的潜水艇，名为“鹦鹉螺号”。
他们在这次历经十个月，行程两万里的海底探险中经过了太平洋、印度洋、红海、地中海、大西洋、南极以及北极海域。见识了无数奇观。
读这本书，我仿佛在和他们一起旅行，有时赏心悦目，有时惊心动魄。让我久久不能平静的一段同旅途是“鹦鹉螺号”被在海底的冰群包围了，他们想尽方法：人工凿冰，沸水化冰，就在氧气快要用尽时，终于化开了冰。“鹦鹉螺号”脱险。让我非常感动的是，尼德·兰和康赛尔在自己也呼吸困难的情况下，竟把宝贵的氧气让给了教授，太伟大了！
还有一次，神秘又冷酷的尼摩船长救了一个采珠人，让我看到他虽然与世间隔绝，但还是有一颗善良的心。
整个故事都写的非常好，但最后留下了很多疑问：尼摩船长怎么样了？他是否还活着？“鹦鹉螺号”抵住了北冰洋大风暴的冲击了吗？海潮能否有一天把写有他整个生活的手稿带回人间……
