　　Football is connected with the people throughout the world.

　　It has become a part of people's life..Every day, football matches are going on here and there around the world.

　　Pick up a newspaper and you can learn the the results of the football matches. We enjoy playing football, watching football games after work. During the football matches of the World Cup,millions of people watch the matches on TV.

　　When their favorite teams win, they will give them three cheers. When they fail,they feel sad. We all hope our national team will be the strongest one in the world.

　　准备了好久，终于到了英语比赛的日子了。妈妈带我去化妆店把我打扮得像个小公主。我约了万诗琪去给我打气，我们还接了夏老师一起去看我的表演。

　　到了杭州，我们在赛场内看了许多小朋友的表演，他们都很棒，我相信我一定能像他们那样棒的。在那里等了好长的时间，终于轮到我了。当主持人叫到我的名字时，我的心情一下子紧张起来了。走到台上我想到了妈妈的`话：“把下面的评委当成是班里的同学，他们在听我领读英语呢！”想到这儿，我的心情一下子就平静了下来，顺利的表演完了准备好的节目。听到观众的掌声，别提我心里有多高兴了。夏老师还夸我的表演很不错，妈妈也说我的表演非常棒。我克服了我胆小的毛病，以后我会对自己更加有信心。

　　比赛在大家的掌声结束了，我带这喜悦的心情回家了。

　　There are so many sports we can play these days, but among them, I like to play basketball best. I learnt to play it when I was 11 years old.

　　Playing basketball can bring me some good friends, they have something in common with me, they always ask me to play it with them; And we can always share our skills together. We learnt what teamwork is from playing basketball. Sometimes we watch NBA games together, my favourite NBA star is Yao Ming, he is very modest, too.

　　We usually play basketball after school and on the weekends as well. I feel very happy when I pass my ball to my pals. We always cheer when we win the games.

　　I hope I can play basketball as well as Yao Ming someday in the future.

　　现在有很多的运动我们可以玩，但其中，我最喜欢打篮球。当我11岁的时候，我学会了玩。

　　打篮球可以带给我一些好朋友，他们和我有共同的东西，他们总是要求我和他们一起玩，我们可以一起分享我们的'技能。我们学到了什么是团队精神，从打篮球。有时我们一起看篮球比赛，我最喜欢的明星是姚明，他也很谦虚。
